We are Athletes Joined Against Spondylitis, a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Ohio dedicated to raising awareness and funds for ankylosing spondylitis treatment and research.

Not all of us are athletes and not all of us have spondylitis.

But we are all joined to raise awareness and funds for research and treatment of this rare and yet debilitating disease. Our platform for raising awareness is extreme sports.

About Our Founder, Brian Warner

My name is Brian Warner. As a child, I was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis . . . and later Ankylosing Spondylitis. I have had chronic back pain for as long as I can remember. At times it was so severe that I was unable to stand or walk without aid. Regardless, I found a way to play my favorite sport and ultimate hobby: paintball.
